Up late, thought I'd update you.

I am up late trying to finish a sales person observation critique for my upper-division marketing course, but I need a break.  So here is the latest update in our lives.

Rosann: My lovely wife is doing well, she is still working as a piano instructor at the Terrace School of Music. One cool experience she had was her recent travel to Denver. In Denver last week, the Music Teachers' National Association (MTNA), held their annual conference. Rosann was away for a week and seemed to have had a blast! You'd have to ask her more about it for details, but what she shared was a few highlight experiences. Apparently there was this amazing pianist... I think his name was Lang Lang (pronounced "long long")... anyway, all of the students with Rosann helped to usher and were able to attend the concert for free (apparently he is usually extremely pricey to watch perform)! She also met many famous music teachers whose works have been published. Another highlight was all of the FREE music she acquired. Believe me it's a lot; she literally came home with a couple of stacks of music that she'll be able to use when she opens up her own studio. Lastly, she liked the experience of the Utah MTNA "Treblemakers" club gaining recognition as the National Student Chapter of the Year! She is the president this year and put a lot of work into the club. I think they deserve the award and deserve the recognition. Their club's main accomplishment was teaching inter-city elementary school students about music. They created a 8 week course of study for the children. The coursework was accompanied by plenty of fun games and learning opportunities.

Other than the conference, Rosann has been preparing for her Piano Jury. Basically, her professors critique her performance on the pieces she should have memorized by the end of the semester and once she's finished her year contract with the school of music--she'll be in Seattle with me.

Me (Pete): As mentioned previously, I found this to be a great opportunity to procrastinate a never-ending sales person critique. This is my last full-time semester at Weber State University in Ogden, UT. I will be earning a degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Finance. The great new, news: I recently acquired an internship with T-Mobile, USA. Their corporate Headquarters is located in Seattle, WA and that is where I will be working. For those who know the Seattle area, it's in Bellevue, WA near the Factoria Mall. I am extremely excited for this internship! Usually, only Masters of Business Administration students are given this internship, so I am pretty lucky to have this opportunity as an undergraduate. I will be working in the Financial Planning and Analysis Department of T-Mobile as an Intern. As I understand it, the duties are that of a beginning analyst--anyway, to say the least I, am excited! The only thing between us and this internship is finding a place to live and Finals Week... oh man... that means I should get back to work. Let me wrap this up.

Other than that, I actually finish my coursework during the summer. I will take my last 6 credits (two classes) online while in Seattle. Who hoo! A proud graduate of Weber State University!
